Regulations & Applications – Riberinha Beach 2026
Riberinha Beach is an artistic and community beach installation that transforms the Riverside Area of Portimão into a vibrant public space for culture, creativity, and connection. For more than two weeks, the city becomes home to a temporary urban beach featuring a main stage, live concerts, performances, collective art projects, community workshops, open-air cinema nights, dance, circus, theatre, and much more.
The project aims to bring life back into the city center through culture, artistic occupation of public space, and the creation of an open and welcoming environment for all ages.

Riverside Area (Zona Ribeirinha), Portimão
Open Applications – Food Trucks
We are currently looking for food trucks to join the event.
Applicants may apply for:
The first half of the event
The second half of the event
The full duration of the event
Fee
€70 + VAT per day
⚠️ We do not accept vendors selling drinks only, as the event bars directly contribute to financing the project.
What Is Included
Space for your food truck installation
Participation in a large-scale cultural event
Access to the daily event audience
Promotion through the event’s and association’s social media platforms
Technical Information
Any electrical requirements must be discussed and approved in advance with the organization.
Electrical capacity on site is limited.
Additional lighting and decoration are the responsibility of each participant.
A loading/unloading access map will be provided to selected participants before the event.
Application Process
Applications must be submitted exclusively through the online platform.
Each application must include:
Photos of the food truck
Examples of products being sold
Links to social media pages or website
After reviewing the applications, selected participants will receive an email containing:
Participation confirmation
Assigned dates
Payment information and bank details
⚠️ Participation is only confirmed after the initial payment has been received.
⚠️ In case of cancellation, payments already made are non-refundable.
Payment
Participation payment will be divided into two parts:
50% of the total amount must be paid before the beginning of the event in order to secure the booking.
The remaining 50% must be paid by the end of the participant’s stay at the event.
Bank details and payment instructions will be sent by email to selected participants.
⚠️ The space reservation is only considered valid after receipt of the first payment.
⚠️ In case of cancellation by the participant, any amount already paid will not be refunded.
Participation Rules
Spaces will be assigned by the organization.
Participants must respect the setup and dismantling schedules established by the organization.
Vehicle access to the venue may be restricted outside loading/unloading hours.
All participants are responsible for the legality and compliance of the products they sell.
Communication & Social Media
Participants are encouraged to share stories and content before and during the event using the tag @p.o.i.s_.
We will do our best to share participants’ work through our social media channels, although during the event period the team may be extremely busy with production and logistics.
Data Protection
All personal data provided will be used exclusively by the association P.O.I.S / Bailado Cósmico and will never be shared with third parties.
